Purchase supports company’s goal to offer product and service options at multiple price points
Orlando, FL – Foundation Partners Group (FPG), a leading provider of innovative funeral, cemetery and cremation experiences and products, has announced the acquisition of Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services. Simplicity joins six other funeral properties that FPG currently operates in the state of South Carolina.
"We are delighted to add Simplicity to our portfolio of funeral operations," stated Brad Rex, FPG President and CEO. "Simplicity aligns with our vision to provide the very best family service options at multiple price points. We are very proud to have a leader as innovative as Jim Dobbins and his team join the Foundation Partners family."
Simplicity opened its doors in March 2012 with the goal of providing a range of cost effective services from the most simple, direct cremation through a full, traditional burial. Since its inception, Simplicity has provided families with a guarantee for each funeral it conducts. This price guarantee helps solidify their promise to respect and care for each family while offering value priced solutions.
"When I opened Simplicity four years ago, my intent was to provide the people of North Charleston and the Lowcountry with the highest level of care and service at the lowest possible price," commented Jim Dobbins, owner of Simplicity. "My staff and I are eager to evaluate the many proprietary service offerings from Foundation Partners Group and bring them to our families. Moving forward, we will strive to uphold and build upon the standard of service, excellence and reputation for which Simplicity is known."
"It is the strategy of Foundation Partners Group to partner with the preeminent independent operators in the funeral profession, including those with operating models that may differ from what is offered by 'traditional' funeral homes," stated Justin Baxley, Senior Vice President of Business Development at FPG. "Simplicity has built a unique and successful operation in the North Charleston area and we look forward to our partnership as they continue to serve families in the Lowcountry."
