Facility Specifically Designed To Host a Number of Life-Affirming Events
The Villages, FL, May 1, 2017: Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services opened a new multi-purpose facility in The Villages this week to better serve families and the community in Central Florida. The 12,000 sq. ft. building offers a versatile space featuring three multi-purpose rooms that can host a variety of life’s celebratory events.
"This Life Event Center offers the business community an outstanding location with top-notch facilities and state-of-the-art amenities. The center was specifically designed with the flexibility to hold meetings, celebrations and conferences for groups large and small,” said Justin Baxley, Senior Vice President of Hiers-Baxley. "In addition, it further expands Hiers-Baxley’s capability to provide families with a venue to host all of their important milestone events, not just funerals."
The building was designed by KP Studio Architects and built by Ausley Construction, both of Ocala. It sits on 2.5 acres in the Buffalo Ridge area. The facility has been in the planning stages for more than two years and construction has been ongoing for almost a year. It boasts the latest in technology and includes a 12 ft. tall by 34 ft. wide projection screen, which is an important component of the firm’s proprietary ShareLife® multi-sensory technology platform.
“Our objective is to offer relaxed surroundings and inviting décor in every room of the Life Event Center to make our guests as comfortable as possible when they are here for an event,” commented Lisa High, the location manager of the facility. “We want people coming back to us to hold every meaningful family celebration in our facility, including weddings, parties, reunions and receptions.”
An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for May 20. Tours showcasing the features of each room within the facility will be offered as well as food and entertainment.
