Who We Are - Your Integration Team

By now, you know that your business is merging with Foundation Partners Group. And you might have mixed feelings about that.

We understand that even though this partnership has many benefits for you and your community, it’s a big change. Change is tough, even when it’s change that brings more support, better benefits, and the potential to serve more families.

We also know that you don’t know us – but that’s about to change, too. We created this page just for you so that you can meet our team, learn what you can expect in the coming weeks and how we’re bridging the gap between our two companies.

We have a lot in common.

Between the three of us – Kristina, Cheri', and Stephen – we have almost 100 years of experience in the funeral profession, and over a decade with Foundation Partners Group.

We’re trainers, but we’re also funeral professionals who have walked the walk (many miles). We are former funeral directors, embalmers, project managers, and field operations managers. We’ve worked in community outreach, administration, project management, and one-on-one with families in need.

Now, our goal is to help you.

Cheri' Bobeda
Integration & Assimilation Programs Manager

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer (Oregon)
CANA Certified Crematory Operator

Cheri' is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with 25 years in the business. She joined Foundation Partners in 2020 through an acquisition. Since then, Cheri' shares her first-hand knowledge (having “been there”) with new firms as they navigate the integration process. She considers herself an advocate for new team members. Cheri' helps others navigate the integration process through education and unification. For her, success means being willing and able to listen, learn, and adapt.

Kristina Martin
Integration & Assimilation Programs Manager

CANA Certified Crematory Operator

Kristina works side-by-side with new firms to achieve the same smooth transition that she experienced when she joined Foundation Partners in 2012. A former field operations manager, Kristina knows first-hand that clear communication and coordinated progress is vital for a seamless integration. She has a B.S. in business with a minor in accounting from the University of Phoenix. Kristina measures success by helping others achieve their maximum potential in a challenging but nurturing environment. She believes in the power of true collaboration as a way to resolve issues and move forward.

Stephen Ballard
Integration & Assimilation Programs Senior Manager

Licensed Funeral Director (Arkansas)
CANA Certified Crematory Operator

Stephen joined the Foundation Partners Integration team in 2017, bringing 37 years of experience as a funeral professional with him. He likes the challenge that each transition offers as well as the chance to build new relationships. Stephen’s definition of success is the daily confirmation that he is in the perfect career for him. Based in Central Arkansas, he travels nationwide to guide new partners through each step. His goal is to empower everyone with Foundation Partner’s resources so that they achieve personal satisfaction and professional success.
